All pupils who live more than three miles by the most direct route from the Academy are entitled to travel on buses contracted by the Local Authority (except those living outside the catchment area).
At the beginning of each year bus passes will be issued to pupils, giving them access only to that bus which serves their village or area. Queries, comments or complaints should be made direct to:

We also have a large number of students travelling from outside the catchment area. We have our own minibuses for exclusive use by existing Iceni students and we subsidise the cost so that parents pay as little as possible (2024/25 price £3.50 per day per student). We have a limited amount of space on our transport and can advise that we are currently full for academic year 2024/25 and 2025/26. If you require a space on our transport we will be happy to add you to our waiting list.
The bus timetables below are for the additional buses that transport students to Iceni Academy. All our bus routes are currently fully subscribed and we are not able to offer a place to any new students. Please call the office and speak to Mrs Copeland to clarify any times of buses or current arrangements.
Pupils should behave properly on the buses. The contractor is responsible for the safety of pupils they are transporting and they are likely to refuse to carry anyone they consider to have behaved in a way which could cause an accident. This includes any form of rowdiness and standing while the bus is in motion. In the rare event that any of our students are found to be behaving inappropriately when travelling to/from the Academy, they will be sanctioned as if the incident took place during the school day.
