Mental Health Support at Iceni Academy

At Iceni Academy, we understand Mental Health and Wellbeing as a continuum. At different times students may be at different points on the continuum. Indeed, throughout their lives our young people will experience a range of mental health and wellbeing. Our aim is to provide them with strategies and knowledge to protect themselves and understand how to seek help when they need it.

There are a number of external support which can help children with their mental health and wellbeing.

 Breckland Mental Health

We work closely with Breckland Mental Health team where we meet termly to put support in place in school and plan for the coming term to increase the mental health practice for students and staff.

Referrals can be made to Breckland Mental Health via the safeguarding team at school. If you feel your child would benefit form a referral please contact Miss Bartrum or Mr Cooper at the academy.
