We believe that home learning can be extremely important to support the progress that our students make in their lessons. Below is the approximate maximum expectation for home much homework each student could expect to receive per subject, per fortnight. This will be down to the teachers’ professional judgement for any class at any time.
In maths at Key Stage 3 (Years 7, 8 and 9), we use Sparx Maths. This is a fantastic online platform. Please speak to your child’s maths teacher directly if your child is struggling to access Sparx.
Seneca is our main home learning platform for all students. We are really excited about the difference this makes to our students, as the platform has a good evidence base for helping students who regularly use it remember more over time.
